Chinese Answer to Oculus Rift

A small developing team from Beijing created an alternative VR system and called it ANTVR Kit. The project description was loaded to a Kickstarter platform and now happy developers wait for a storm of investment offers. The inventors claim their creation has a strong potential to compete with such giants as Oculus Rift and Sony Morpheus. A differentiating point of ANTVR Kit is an all-in-one kit with a foldable controller that has no analogues in modern hi-tech companies.

Chinese estimated the total budget at $200,000. So far the project has collected about $90,000. It’s almost half of the sum needed and 35 days still remain.

Interestingly, Oculus originally used crowdfunding to develop its ideas and now the competitor does the same with high chances to succeed. Well, within a short period of time we’ll see the end of the story…
