Oculus VR announced about its plans to host a developer conference. The event will be held in Los Angeles (Loews Hotel in Hollywood) during September 19-20.
“Attendees will be the first to learn about upcoming Oculus technology, with sessions and workshops led by Oculus engineers and industry pioneers,” the representative of the company commented. “Developers at the event will also have opportunities to receive design and engineering feedback directly from the Oculus team in hands-on labs.”
Application forms can be submitted since July 10. It is still unclear how many participants will be able to join the conference, although it is already known that their number is limited. More details are supposed to be released in the nearest future. However, all those, who are interested in virtual reality, can get acquainted with reports of Oculus’ management: Palmer Luckey, Brendan Iribe, John Carmack and Michael Abrash. They will be broadcasted live.
It’s really great news for many in the industry to find out about such conference. The company is eager to welcome anyone who is interested in the area: developers, engineers, fans, gamers, etc. As the company itself announced, they can be “anyone with an interest in developing great virtual reality content.”
