It seems Oculus wants to diversify the content for its Rift headset as much as possible. Video games still remain a main target market for the company but nevertheless the priorities are gradually shifting to other areas. In the course of the last month Oculus representatives conducted negotiations with many renowned Hollywood film studios and some individual directors. The subject of talks was, supposedly, a creation of content fitting specifically Rift helmet.
Oculus executives also made attempts to convince studios as well as media holdings to create experiences for Oculus. These are regarded as supplements to feature films. The possibility of releasing full-length films for Oculus was widely discussed likewise.
